Lumonall, Inc. Appoints New President and COO
Lumonall, Inc., formerly Midland International Corp., has announced that Mike Hetherman has been appointed President and COO of the company.
Paul Francey, Lumonall's interim COO, has stepped down to pursue other projects.
Mr. Hetherman's years of distribution experience in meeting any and all building material needs will be pivotal in taking Lumonall's "green" products and solutions to market, with a focus on photoluminescent Exit Signs and Safety Way Guidance Systems.
"We are extremely happy about Mike's involvement," John Simmonds, Chairman and CEO of Lumonall, stated today. "His business background and distribution expertise are much-needed additions to this new company, and our exciting product."
Mike Hetherman has been in the Building materials Distribution business for over 20 years. In the mid 80's he started as a designer, and in 1992 became partners in Willis Supply. Willis was established 40 years ago and has exclusive distribution of significant Building Material brands such as DuPont Corian®, DuPont Zodiaq®, and Arpa® Italian Laminates to name a few. Under his leadership Willis expanded from Ontario to across Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA. A few years ago, Mr. Hetherman took Willis to China and now sources many quality building products for the North American market. Today, he is sole owner of Willis, Chairman of the North American DDP (DuPont Distributor Partnership) and Chairman of the Exclusive DuPont Council.
Mr. Hetherman says: "I am very excited to be involved with the Lumonall team. In my many years in the construction business, very few products change the game.
Lumonall products bring revolutionary solutions to the construction industry, shaking up, literally, the way people view Safety Way Guidance Systems and Exit Signs. I'm sure a few years from now people will look back and say 'we used to use electricity and light bulbs for exit signs.' These are exciting times indeed."
