Midland International Corp. Proposes Name Change to Lumonall
Midland International Corp. announced today that the company will be changing its name to Lumonall, Inc.
The company will be filing an application with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, and the state of Nevada to effect the name change, which will better reflect the future direction of the company. This action is subject to regulatory approvals.
Lumonall, Inc. is a global supplier of innovative photoluminescent (PLM) products, with a current concentration on Exit Signs and Safety Way Guidance Systems (SWGS). A supplier of "green" products and solutions, Lumonall focuses first and foremost on Safety, Environmental issues and Cost savings.
The Company also announced today the appointment of Mr. Paul Francey as Chief Operating Officer, and member of the Board of Directors. "The company is pleased to expand its worldwide sales, marketing, licensing and distribution rights in the US market," Mr. Francey said today. "There are over 100 million Exit Signs in the United States using environmentally dated technology. Our Lumonall Exit Signs, and related photoluminescent material products offer the very best in Green Earth, cost saving alternative solutions that don't use electricity. We at Lumonall are proud of the dramatic role our products offer in this regard, and especially gratified that our clients view us and our products as a positive force in safety, environmental awareness and economic viability."
Based on today's energy costs, the average Exit Sign costs over $200 per year to operate. This includes bulb replacement, batteries, breakage, energy costs and general maintenance. Taking into account operations and organizations that use and maintain anywhere from 100 to 1000 Exit Signs, they can expect operational savings ranging from $2,000 to $200,000 if they replace their current signs.
